Description

This app reads your drawing, finds and pairs 3 types of objects:

+ Polyline: or circle is also supported

+ Tag block: contains attributes

+ Leader: or line, pline are also supported

To get the app to work, the first thing to do is run 7cadPlineAreaSetup command. From the Setup window, you instruct the app how to find and pair Tag block, Leader and Polylines by specifying tag block's name, leader's layer name, attribute's tag and polyline's layer name.

Then, run 7cadPlineArea command. You will be asked to select polylines. Ater the selection, for each polyline, the app will find an associated tag block. A tag block can be placed inside the polyline without any leader. If the polyline is small, you can put tag block outside, and connect the two objects by a leader.

Finally, 7cadPlineArea command will populate polyline area (or length) properties to tag block's attributes.
